The Pizza Company Thailand has set an ambitious goal of opening 200 restaurants in the next five years. The chain anticipates 100 new locations in Thailand and 100 franchised units in emerging markets such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Eastern Europe.
According to The Nation, the company currently operates 208 outlets in Thailand, 94 of which include delivery services. The goal is to open franchised restaurants in at least two new markets every year.
The Pizza Company Thailand, which holds about 75 percent of the pizza market in Thailand, has already opened close to 40 franchised restaurants in China, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Jordan.
