Timber Pizza Company to expand Maryland presence

Timber Pizza Company will open its fourth brick-and-mortar franchised location in Edgewater, Maryland. The restaurant is expected to open in the summer and will be it second location following its opening in Annapolis, Maryland, last September, according to a press release.

Company co-founder Chris Brady, long-time Timber team member turned operating partner Aaron Tompkins and their partner, Travis Katski, will open their second location in the past nine months, with plans to open additional stores in the region.

"Timber Pizza Edgewater will be the second opening for our Maryland-based franchise partners making them the first multi-unit operators in the Timber Pizza system," Luke Wilson, Timber Pizza Company CEO, told Pizza Marketplace. "Their commitment to the brand provides us with tremendous confidence in the Timber Pizza model and we are excited to continue to grow in the future."

Timber Pizza began franchising in 2022 and will have seven locations by the end of this year.
