Wisconsin-based Toppers Pizza has added plant-based options to its menu, according to a press release.

The brand's new line of recipes free of animal and dairy products include:

  • Vegan Spicy Italian — Homemade pizza sauce topped with Follow Your Heart dairy-free mozzarella, Field Roast Plant-Based Pepperoni, spicy cherry peppers, garlic-roasted tomatoes and Italian seasoning.
  • Vegan Tomato Pie — Homemade pizza sauce topped with Follow Your Heart dairy-free mozzarella, garlic roasted tomatoes, diced tomato and Italian seasoning.
  • Vegan Toppers Classic — Homemade pizza sauce topped with Follow Your Heart dairy-free mozzarella cheese, Field Roast Plant-Based Pepperoni, onions, green peppers and mushrooms.
  • Vegan White Potato — Follow Your Heart dairy-free ranch, topped with Follow Your Heart dairy-free mozzarella, loaded crispy tater tots, diced tomatoes and green onions.

The brand also added two salads, the Garden Salad and the Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad, and has brought back its popular Italian Beef Pizza, which boasts Parmesan garlic sauce, real Wisconsin Mozzarella cheese, thin sliced Italian beef, giardiniera and Italian seasoning.

"Bringing back the Italian Beef Pizza is like reconnecting with an old friend — familiar, satisfying and just the right amount of bold," Brian Brindza, director of culinary and menu innovation for Toppers, said in the release. "At the same time, we wanted to make sure everyone has a seat at the table, which is why we've crafted these new plant-based pizzas that deliver on flavor without compromise. Whether you're craving the rich heat of our Vegan Spicy Italian or the comforting simplicity of the Vegan Tomato Pie, we've got something that's all about flavor, flexibility and satisfying every lifestyle."

Toppers Pizza was founded in 1991 and has 71 units.
