Uncle Maddio's Pizza brings Thai flavors back to menu

Uncle Maddio's Pizza is offering its ThaiTastic Salad and Sriracha Chicken Pizza due to popular demand. The pizza franchise will offer the two Southeast Asian-flavored menu, inspired by the complex sweet-sour-salty-spicy flavor of Thai cuisine, at Uncle Maddio's locations nationwide beginning the week of April 4-9, according to a company press release.

The ThaiTastic Salad features field greens topped with grilled chicken, red onions, purple cabbage, peanuts, and drizzled with a handmade Thai peanut sauce and sweet and spicy honey Sriracha dressing. For those wanting the Thai flavors on a pizza, the Sriracha Chicken Pizza starts with Uncle Maddio's homemade pizza dough and is topped with the same sauces and ingredients as the salad.

"Technomic recently named 'the Sriracha effect' a top food trend for 2016," said Matt Andrew, CEO and founder of Uncle Maddio's. "We have always been on-trend when it comes to using the most craveable flavors on our menu. Our guests will love the spicy, unique Thai flavor combination."

Uncle Maddio's has partnered with the Southern Peanut Growers and is committed to sourcing its peanuts from American peanut farmers for the Thai menu items. The partnership will be supported by a joint social media campaign between Uncle Maddio's and the Southern Peanut Growers.
