Uncle Maddio's Pizza celebrates National Salad Month

 Uncle Maddio’s Pizza will offer a ThaiTastic salad for a limited time in May, in honor of National Salad Month. The salad includes leafy field greens, red bell peppers, purple cabbage, red onions, carrots, cilantro and topped with grilled chicken, peanuts, Thai peanut sauce and spicy honey Sriracha dressing. 

Besides the ThaiTastic, other entrée salads include a Greek salad, chicken caesar, a classic chopped salad and a Santa Fe salad. There is also the option to build your own salad and choose from 27 vegetables, 15 different meats, organic baby spinach, mixed greens or romaine lettuce. 

"Unlike other fast casual pizza concepts that may only offer a side salad, at Uncle Maddio's we offer chef-created entrée salads that are filling enough for a meal or can also be made into a side salad portion," said Matt Andrew, Uncle Maddio’s founder and CEO, in a release. "Or for guests who want to create their own salad, just like our pizza, the build-your-own salad options are virtually endless."

Uncle Maddio's has signed franchise agreements with 67 different entities in 18 states, according to the release.
