Unique Pizza signs N.C., S.C. expansion deal

PITTSBURGH — Unique Pizza and Subs Corp. has signed a deal with LKN Investment Partners LLC to open 25 stores in North and South Carolina over the next 36 months.
LKN, which is comprised of Raymond Monroe, David Koran and Michael Chandler, also has purchased the rights for "first right of refusal" in these two states. The partners plan to eventually open more than 50 locations.
The first five Unique Pizza and Subs locations are slated to open by the end of 2007.
