Uno Pizzeria & Grill is showing the love this 2020 for all those with special dietary needs who still want a nice slice. The pizza chain said it has expanded its 600-calories-or-less pizza offerings with a supplemental menu designed for diners that need or want certain dietary restrictions, including those who follow vegan, vegetarian, gluten-sensitive, dairy-free and carb-restricted diets, according to a news release.

The menu's rotating 600-calories-or-less pizza of the month is designed to appeal to these customers who also want to cut their calories and still have great food and nights out. Included are:

  • Apricot & Goat Cheese De-Lite pizza with goat cheese atop apricot preserves and toasted almonds, layered with fresh arugula and a balsamic glaze drizzle throughout January.
  • Vegetarian Cheeseburger Pizza with plant-based Beyond Burger, cheddar, mozzarella, ketchup, mustard, pickles and onions as a new menu item starting Jan. 14.
  • Pesto & Fresh Mozz De-Lite with fresh mozzarella atop a garlic basil pesto drizzled with a balsamic glaze featured all through February.

The new items join the brand's De-Lites menu of 600-calorie-or-less appetizers, salads, pizzas and entrées that includes five permanent menu items of wild mushroom & aged cheddar, spinach goat cheese & caramelized onions, roasted eggplant spinach & feta, garlic garlic chicken & goat cheese and Margherita pies.

"With so much excitement around our all-inclusive 'Love All, Feed All' menu and its 600-calories-or-less pizzas, we want to roll into 2020 with the introduction of even more unexpected options," Uno CEO Jim Ilaria, said in the release.  "Whether you come to Uno for the deep dish pizza that made us famous or for a new 600-calories-or-less pizza while sticking to your New Year's resolutions, you can be sure you'll have enough delicious options to satisfy the whole family."

The Boston-based chain has 97 locations in 19 states, the District of Columbia, Honduras, Qatar, India and Saudi Arabia and also operates fast casual concept, Uno Dué Go and QSR brand, Uno Express, along with Uno Foods that supplies airlines, movie theaters, hotels, airports, travel plazas, schools, and supermarkets with both frozen and refrigerated private-label foods and Uno branded products.
