Las Vegas-based Above The Crust hopes to expand nationally and this week announced franchising plans to allow it to do that, according to a news release.
The family- and community-centered concept focuses on East Coast pizza and promises to bring patrons "home to Brooklyn."
"The only thing we put more love into than our dishes is our community," Above The Crust President Adam Barkin said in the release.
In the last four years, the pizza chain has raised more than $75,000 for Las Vegas community organizations through the Dine out for Dough fundraising program that sends 20% of fundraising night proceeds to the featured organization, and on special occasions, 100% of proceeds are given.
