Villa Italian Kitchen celebrates 50 years, opens in Mexico City

Morristown, New Jersey-based Villa Enterprises has opened its 12th Villa Italian Kitchen in Mexico, its first in Mexico City.

Morristown, New Jersey-based Villa Enterprises has opened its 12th Villa Italian Kitchen in Mexico, its first in Mexico City.

The store is located at Centro Las Americas in Ecatepec.

"Villa is proud to serve Mexico City our New York style pizza and Stromboli," said Senior Vice President of Development Adam Torine in a company news release. "Ecatepec residents can now enjoy the same great taste and fresh ingredients that our loyal Villa customers experience at our other locations in Mexico and around the world."

The company opened its first pizzeria 50 years ago in New York City and has expanded to 270 locations around the globe. Villa Italian Kitchen's menu features Neapolitan and pan pizza with whole milk mozzarella and homemade sauce on fresh dough, as well as Italian pastas and entrees, the company said.
