MORRISTOWN, N.J. — In addition to opening a new Idaho location at Boise International Airport, in September, Villa Pizza plans to develop three additional airport locations at the Baltimore/Washington International Airport, beginning in mid-2005.
According to a news release, the 300-unit chain also opened its first site this fall in Kuwait, where it has plans for at least 10 stores.
"This is an ideal country to begin our Middle Eastern Development," said Anthony Scotto, executive vice president of Villa Enterprises. "Kuwait is well adapted to American brands, and the market is prime for a venture of this sort."
Its first Scotland unit also opened this fall, where Scotto said the locals have been "very friendly and welcoming."
In the past five years, Villa Enterprises has more than doubled in size and has units in 38 states and four countries.
