Vocelli Pizza sued over connection to defunct Italian Oven

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: A handful of Vocelli Pizza franchisees are suing the pizza company for not disclosing that some of its executives filed for bankruptcy in connection to the now-defunct, publicly held Italian Oven restaurant chain.

The franchisees want their franchise fees returned and their operations repurchased by the chain. One-hundred-unit Vocelli is based in Scott, Pa. It was formerly named Pizza Outlet.
