Wewalka refrigerated dough comes to Schnucks in Missouri

Four Wewalka refrigerated dough products are now available across 70 Schnucks stores in the St. Louis market area.

Four Wewalka refrigerated dough products are now available across 70 Schnucks stores in the St. Louis market area.

"Everyone deserves the pleasure of great-tasting baked goods, and Wewalka makes it even easier with our 'Ready to Roll' parchment-paper lining in each package," said Thomas Steiner, president of sales and marketing at Wewalka, in a statement. "The parchment paper assists with baking and prevents messes on baking sheets, making cleanup simple."

Wewalka refrigerated dough contains no artificial colors, no bleached or bromated flour, no hydrogenated oil and no high fructose corn syrup, the company said. The products are also vegetarian, according to the press release.

The four products include:

  • Wewalka Family Style Pizza Dough: Rectangular dough made with European olive oil and real yeast featuring a traditional crust;
  • Wewalka Bistro Style Pizza Dough: Thin crust made with European olive oil and real yeast;
  • Wewalka Authentic Puff Pastry Dough: 64 thin layers of dough rolled on parchment paper;
  • Wewalka Large Croissant Rolls Dough: 36 layers of fine, layered yeast dough and a hint of vanilla. The dough can be stuffed with fillings or served from the oven.
