Wood Stone wins award from Carrabba's Italian Grill

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Oven manufacturer Wood Stone Corp. has received Carrabba's Italian Grill's Purveyor of the Year Award for 2004.

According to a news release, the award is the first for Wood Stone, which has supplied stone-hearth ovens to the chain for more than a decade. Wood Stone was not Carrabba's original oven supplier, but it has been its sole oven supplier for the last 10 years and installed more than 200 units at Carrabba's locations.

"We are proud to receive such a prestigious award from Carrabba's Italian Grill," said Kurt Eickmeyer, Wood Stone's vice president of client relations. "For our small company to be honored in this way has been a thrill for all of us, and we will be working hard in an attempt to win this award again next year."
