Woodstock's Pizza announces new hires, promotion

SAN DIEGO -- Woodstock's Pizza has expanded its team to fulfill technology, store management and social networking functions.
Ali Gilmore joins Woodstock's as IT manager. Gilmore will handle all technology needs for Woodstock's corporate office and its five California locations.
Griffin Thall, a senior at San Diego State University, has been hired to facilitate all social networking endeavors including inclusion on social networking sites, fan pages and blogs. Thall's knowledge of social media will provide Woodstock's with a strong presence on the Internet beyond standard Web marketing.
Additionally, Woodstock's Pizza Santa Cruz has welcomed a new management team. Scott Patterson, a Santa Cruz local, joins Woodstock's as general manager after 19 years as GM at Riva Fish House. Patterson will oversee all operations and manage staff at the Santa Cruz restaurant.
Gretchen Hoegen moves to Santa Cruz from the Chico location to serve as assistant general manager. Hoegen has worked with Woodstock's since 2003, advancing from shift manager to marketing representative to assistant GM.
The original Woodstock's Pizza opened in 1978 in Corvallis, Ore., by founder Chuck Woodstock. Woodstock partnered with MikeChew and opened the first California Woodstock's Pizza in 1980 in San Luis Obispo, followed by Isla Vista, Chico, San Diego and Davis.
Originally a delivery driver, Jeff Ambrose moved up the ranks to become owner and president of all Woodstock's Pizza operations in California.
