Your Pie adds operations, tech leaders

Athens, Georgia-based Your Pie has hired operations and technology leaders, including Mike Tillis as vice president of Operations and Support.
Tillis, who joins Your Pie from heckers Drive-In and Honeybaked Ham, will lead field operations and training, while overseeing a franchise support manager team and working with franchisees, area operators and restaurant team members for in-store efficiency and profitability, according to a company press release. He will also help integrate Your Pie's learning management software platform and upcoming guest feedback system.

The brand also named an 11-year employee of the company, Kevin Altman, as its director of Technology. He comes to the role after 4 ½ years as director of Franchise Support. In his new position, Altman will provide greater technology support for all franchise owners from preventive maintenance solutions to ensuring all locations are functioning with the latest company software programs.

Finally, former CEO and board member, Bucky Cook, retired Oct. 23. He played an instrumental role in the growth and development of the franchise from a single-store operation to more than 75 current locations, the company said. He has been serving as an advisor since his replacement, Dave McDougall, was named CEO last November. Although Cook is stepping back from day-to-day responsibilities, he will remain involved with Your Pie as an advisor, board member and equity shareholder.
