Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters on average expect the company to earn 58 cents per share for the quarter on revenue of $2.79 billion.
This year has been a mixed bag for Yum! Brands, which has predicted a 10 percent increase for the full year over last. Weakened U.S. and China markets have been counterbalanced by aggressive expansion overseas, lower commodity costs and the success of KFC's Kentucky Grilled Chicken in the second quarter.
