zpizza expands Northern California presence

zpizza has opened a new South Bay location at 1190 N. Fair Oaks Ave. in Sunnyvale, California.

The location is offering $1 slices all day today to celebrate its grand opening. The Sunnyvale unit features the brand's signature pizzas, flatbreads, salads, pastas, shareables and Take N Bake pizzas.

It is owned by Sankaran Ganesan, who is also the founder and president of a tech company based in San Jose.

"As a long-time pizza lover, I wanted to open a restaurant that held to a higher standard for pizza," Ganesan said in a news release. "I'm thrilled to bring zpizza to Sunnyvale and introduce the community to our fresh, top-notch ingredients and quality food."
