Zpizza, an artisan inspired pizza chain, is now offering kids 12 and under an opportunity to create their own pizzas in restaurants or for take-n-bake, the company said in an announcement. The Jr. Chef pizza kits include ready-to-bake dough rolled out on a bake-n-serve tray, organic tomato sauce, part skim mozzarella cheese, choice of two toppings and baking instructions.

Pizza kits are available for Jr. Chef parties for kids hosted at zpizza restaurants or in-home, which allows kids an opportunity to earn their Jr. Chef certification. Party packages include build-your-own pizza kits, aprons, chefs hats, games and Jr. Chef certificates.

"We want the zpizza experience to be fun for the whole family," said Chris Bright, CEO. "The Jr. Chef kits and parties transform zpizza's quality ingredients into a hands-on activity that will keep kids entertained and deliver a delicious meal at the same time."

Jr. Chef pizza kits are priced at $6.95 at participating locations nationwide, according to the announcement. From July 16 to July 30, zpizza will offer a free Jr. Chef kit to ztribe members who purchase a large or extra large pizza.

The chain also uses its Nice zSlice program to reward kids for kindness in the classroom and hosts fundraisers to support more than 200 schools across the country, the company said.
