Zpizza signs Colo. expansion deal

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — Zpizza, the Southern Calif.-based gourmet pizza chain, has signed a multiunit development deal with Jeffrey and Kristin Peterson to open nine zpizza locations throughout Colorado.
The couple plans to open their first location in Colorado Springs by spring or summer of 2009. They also have the option to open up to 20 Colorado locations by 2028.
Zpizza was recently voted "Best Pizza Restaurant" for the third consecutive year in Washingtonian magazine.
