How the health care law will affect your restaurant

Scott DeFife, the executive vice president of Policy and Government Affairs with the National Restaurant Association, said there were 400 to 500 restaurant operators who stopped by the new Solutions Center Booth during the recent NRA Show to inquire about how the Affordable Care Act regulations will affect their restaurant business. His advice to those operators is to educate yourself now, not later.  "By educating yourself, it will give you the best chance of mitigating any compliance issues down the road," he said.
