Yum! earnings push stock to 52-week high

Cheese
Block cheese prices trended down last week on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, averaging just over $1.43 per pound. Prices dropped 6 cents from the previous week. Prices closed at $1.47 on Monday, $1.44 on Tuesday, $1.43 Wednesday, $1.41 Thursday and $1.40 on Friday. Wheat Wheat closed at $5.20 per bushel Friday on the Minneapolis Grain Exchange, up 19 cents from the previous week's close of $5.01. Prices for wheat closed at $5.02 Monday, $5.08 Tuesday, $5.07 per bushel Wednesday and $5.12 on Thursday. Gasoline and diesel fuel The nationwide average for regular unleaded gasoline was $2.86 per gallon April 19, according to AAA and the Oil Price Information Service, flat from the previous week. Prices are up 1 percent from an average of $2.82 per gallon a month ago and up 39 percent from an average of $2.06 per gallon this time last year. Mid-range unleaded currently averages $3.04 per gallon while premium unleaded as of April 19 stood at $3.15 per gallon. The nationwide average price for diesel fuel stood at $3.06 per gallon April 19, flat from last week. Diesel prices are up 34 percent from an average of $2.27 per gallon this time last year. Natural gas While natural gas spot prices inched lower at a number of market locations, prices at the majority of points in the lower 48 States increased since April 7, according to the Energy Information Administration. Overall, spot prices in the lower 48 states varied between a 3-percent increase and a 3-percent decrease on the week. The Henry Hub spot price ended the report week yesterday, April 14, 7 cents higher than the preceding week, at $4.15 per million Btu (MMBtu). Pizza company stocks Shares in Pizza Hut parent Yum! Brands Inc. closed at $42.70 on April 16, up $2 compared with the previous week's close of $40.70. YUM traded at a 52-week high of $43.76 in April 2010 and a 52-week low of $31.04 in April 2009. Domino's closed at $14.82, up 11 cents compared with the previous Friday's close of $14.71. DPZ has traded as high as $15.64 in April 2010 and as low as $6.41 in April 2009, over the past 52 weeks. Papa John's stock closed at $27.71, down 1 cent compared with the previous Friday's close of $27.72. PZZA traded at a 52-week high of $29.25 in May 2009 a 52-week low of $21.44 in December 2009. Shares in CEC Entertainment Inc., parent company of Chuck E. Cheese restaurants, closed at $39.25, down 31 cents compared with the previous week's close of $39.56. CEC traded at a 52-week high of $39.87 in April 2010 and a 52-week low of $24.69 in October 2009. California Pizza Kitchen closed at $20.25 on April 12, up $2.07 from the previous week's close of $18.18. CPKI traded as high as $22.92 in April 2010 and as low as $12.29 in December 2009. Pizza Inn closed at $1.91 on April 5, down 8 cents from the previous week's close of $1.99. PZZI traded at a 52-week high of $2.25 in June 2009 and a 52-week low of $1.10 cents in May 2009.
