Hello. I'm your new site editor here at Pizza Marketplace! I've been in the pizza industry for almost two decades. That's a lot of pizza. I spent 14 years with a national pizza print publication and trade show traveling and eating pizza for a living. That means I get asked where the best pizza is a lot. (For the record, that's a subjective question, but the best pizza I ever had was in a historic shop in Brooklyn). Locally, we have a lot of good pizza in Louisville, Kentucky, and you've probably got your own favorites in your own hometown.

That's what's so great about pizza. With so many styles, it's a great talking point. I've been on pizza tours in NYC, Chicago, Las Vegas and New Haven eating my way through some of the best shops in the country (Chicago, you were a tough trip with all that deep-dish gooeyness). Going to seven or eight pizzerias in a day? It's a tough job, but someone's got to do it.

As managing editor here at Networld Media Group, I strive to bring a level of professionalism and objectivity to the pizzasphere. Though pizza has been around for more than 100 years, it's an ever-changing field. Technological advances make the front end easier than ever, but there's still nothing like the feeling of flour, salt, yeast and water under the nails as you knead dough. That ladle full of spicy pizza sauce? Yeah, you're my favorite part. And watching mozzarella melt under a hot oven is a thing of beauty.
