Ad firm awarded for Pizza Hut's VIP Program

DALLAS — hawkeye | GROUP garnered a Silver ECHO Award in the 2006 International ECHO Awards competition (sponsored by the Direct Marketing Association), for its creation of the
Pizza Hut Very Into Pizza (VIP) program.
According to a news release, when customers paid $14.95 to join, they received a free large pizza immediately. For every two pizzas ordered each month, VIP customers received another large pizza for free. Extensive research by the firm showed the campaign attracted new customers and retained Pizza Hut's top customers as well.
