Alabama town deems sign-waving pizzeria employees a safety hazard
August 11, 2009
Police in Florence, Ala., have asked managers from competing pizza shops to move sign-waving employees from a roadway median to the restaurants' respective parking lots, according to a story in the Florence Times-Daily.
Police cited safety concerns for motorists and employees in their request. Managers from Domino's and Little Caesars said they were simply trying to remain competitive in a tough economy.
