Angelina's Pizza wins Ohio Restaurant Neighbor Award for Katrina relief

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio Restaurant Association awarded three-unit Angelina's Pizza, in North Olmsted, Ohio, the Restaurant Neighbor Award for its relief efforts following Hurricane Katrina.
 
According to a news release, Angelina's owners, Jim and Ann Reichle, organized the collection and delivery of 133,000 pounds of food, water and clothes for hurricane victims in the Gulf Coast region in 2005. (For the full story on Angelina's efforts, read A hurricane of help.)
 
The award also makes Angelina's eligible for an award from the National Restaurant Association. National winners will receive $5,000 to be used for future community assistance programs, plus an all-expenses paid trip to Washington D.C., for the award ceremony.
