Round Table Pizza is rolling out a brand revision at age 60, based on consumer research, a news release said. The full rebranding covers everything from logo, website and restaurant redesign to packaging, uniforms and menu items.
All elements revolve around the lore of the Knights of the Round Table, as well as Founder Bill Larson's commitment to recipes around the hand-rolled, made-daily dough, sauce and toppings. The brand was purchased nearly two years ago by Global Franchise Group, which hired a creative agency, Sterling-Rice Group, to help create a brand vision revolving around "pizza royalty."
The brand has a Coat of Arms, centered around valor, honor and revelry, as well as a redesigned logo that features a knight's helmet silhouette. The chain will unveil the first rebranded store this summer, and it will add more than 20 restaurants this year.
