Bavaro's opens third location in Florida

Bavaro's is opening its third Florida location, this time in St. Petersburg at 945 Central Ave.

The newest Neapolitan-style pizza restaurant is 1700 square feet with indoor and outdoor seating for 80 customers.

Pizzas will be cooked in an Italian-imported wood-burning oven.

"Authentic 'Napoletana' or Neapolitan pizza must be baked in traditional wood fired ovens, like the ones we import," Founder Dan Bavaro said in a release. "The authentic ovens are primarily handcrafted in Naples, Italy. Oven building has been handed down for generations."
