Blaze, Cicis and Pieology announce new locations

June 10, 2016

Blaze Pizza has opened its first Pittsburgh location and is celebrating with an offer to customers to make free pizzas for themselves this Friday at the new Monroeville location on William Penn Highway.

Meanwhile, down south in sunny Clearwater, Florida, Cicis Pizza officially opens its newest restaurant on McMullen Booth Road on Monday, June 13, by giving the first 100 paying customers that day cards that give them free Cicis buffets for the next year. The first Clearwater location joins 44 other sites in the Sunshine State and, according to a news release, will be one of the nation’s largest locations at 16,000 square feet. It is also among the first to bear the chain's new logo and branding, as well as a 10,000-square-foot game room and four bowling lanes.

Additionally, Pieology Pizzeria announced it has opened the chain's first Maryland location in Gaithersburg. This is the first location operated by franchise partner MMM Pizza 1.

"We chose Pieology because of the company's dedication to ensuring a positive guest experience, along with their strategic, sustainable growth model," said MMM Pizza 1 CFO Manny Bramao.

Pieology Gaithersburg features an industrial-chic environment with inspirational quotes on walls, menus and uniforms.

And finally, Paisano's Pizza is opening the first of nine new locations in Washington, D.C. this month. Franchise partners Antoine Chahine, Ron Trowbridge and Daniel Bechara will open the Wisconsin Avenue NW location in Georgetown this June, with eight more locations slated to open in the next 1½ years.
