Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza plants flag in the Bluegrass State

June 4, 2014

Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza will open its newest location June 9 in Louisville, marking the brand’s debut in Kentucky. To celebrate, the company will offer free build-your-own pizzas on June 10 between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. to anyone who follows Blaze Pizza on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. The 2,300-square-foot restaurant is located in Louisville's Shelbyville Road Plaza, near Nordstrom Rack and Trader Joe's.

"Kentuckians love pizza, but they really don't have a good way to enjoy a quality pie without the wait," executive chef Brad Kent said in a news release. "Blaze Pizza is all about letting folks enjoy custom-built artisanal pizzas at crazy fast speed. It's a concept I'm thrilled to lend my expertise to."

The Louisville Blaze Pizza will be operated by The Millennial Restaurant Group, one of the largest Blaze franchisees, which plans to develop restaurants in Kentucky, Tennessee and Florida. The partnership consists of James Patterson Sr., Jim Patterson II, Ulysses (Junior) Bridgeman, Wayne Albritton and Collins Cogan.
