Blaze moves into southern Indiana

Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza is opening a new location in Clarksville, Indiana in the Metro Louisville area on Monday, June 18, a news release said. The Veterans Square Boulevard store will also give free pizzas on June 19 to those who follow the brand on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Snapchat. 

Louisville-based Millennial Restaurant Group, which is developing the concept throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana, is behind the new location, after having opened their first Blaze across the Ohio River in Louisville four years ago. The franchise group operates six locations in Kentucky — three in Louisville, two in Lexington, and one in Bowling Green. 

The new 2,700-square-foot restaurant is the first Blaze Pizza in Southern Indiana and includes seating for 75 inside with 30 seats on an outdoor patio. The Clarksville restaurant has also created 45 local jobs.

"Clarksville's thriving retail and restaurant scene make this area a perfect fit for our flagship Southern Indiana restaurant," said Beth Duncan, Operating Partner for Blaze Pizza in Clarksville, in the release. 

The chain is now up to 265 restaurants in 40 states, Canada and the Middle East.
