Blaze moves into Utah with location across from water park

Blaze Fast Fire'd Pizza — one of this year’s Top 100 Fast Casual Movers and Shakers  — opened its first Utah location today in Lehi. To celebrate the chain is giving away build-your-own pizzas all day Friday to anyone who follows Blaze Pizza on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook.

Aside from the social media promotion, the chain is also setting down roots in the community by offering community organizations to participate in a restaurant fundraiser program that returns 20 percent of any in-restaurant community event's proceeds back to the sponsoring organization. A news release about the opening said the store in Lehi will partner with local schools, sports clubs and other organizations to host fundraising events at the new restaurant.

The North Digital Drive location restaurant is also making its environmental responsibility initiatives clear to the community, by pointing out that the Lehi located is constructed with recycled and sustainable materials, uses eco-friendly packaging and features energy-efficient LED lighting.
