Blaze opens in Florida, Oklahoma, Illinois

Blaze PIzza announced three more openings this week in Florida, Oklahoma and Illinois. The Viera, Florida, location opening today on Citadel Way will have its traditional grand opening free pizza giveaway Wednesday, Sept. 19, for all patrons who follow the brand on social media. 

The 2,800-square-foot restaurant is the first Blaze Pizza in Viera and includes seating for nearly 90 inside and over 30 on an outdoor patio. Franchisee, Millennial Restaurant Group, operates 10 other locations throughout the Sunshine State including three per city in Tallahassee and Orlando, two in Jacksonville and single locations in both Sarasota and Gainesville. 

Meanwhile, the company said its Midwest City, Oklahoma, location will open Thursday, Sept. 20 on Southeast 29th Street near Tinker Air Force Base. The free pizza giveaway for that new store takes place Friday, Sept. 21 at the location. 

Franchisees and former U.S. Navy pilots, Dominic Flis and David Ostrowe are in the captains' seats for this second Oklahoma City-area location for the brand. This new 2,400-square-foot restaurant includes seating for nearly 50.

Finally, this Saturday, Sept. 22, Blaze opens at the University of Illinois in Urbana with a 740-square-foot open-kitchen restaurant in the school's food court on West Green Street. No ownership information was provided on this location.
