Blaze Pizza to debut 4th Boston location

Blaze Pizza will open its fourth Boston-area unit on Aug. 3, according to a press release. The location will be opened on Boston University's campus and will give free pizzas to anyone who follows the concept on social media. In order to celebrate the opening, 20 percent of the day's proceeds will be given to local organizations, schools and sports clubs.

The restaurant features energy-efficient lighting, a modern interior and a chef-driven menu.

"Our mission at Blaze is really simple: We're taking pizza back to its roots," Jim Mizes, president and COO of Blaze Pizza, said in the release.  "By making dough in-house, carefully sourcing ingredients and cooking by fire, we're giving guests a great way to enjoy artisanal pizza without the wait.  It's changing the way people think about and eat pizza."
