Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza has named a new franchise development executive who will lead the charge to add 30 new franchise partners in 45 key areas. The brand is on target to open its 300th location soon, a news release said.
Carrie Sams has assumed the role of vice president of franchise development at the fast-growing pizza chain. She comes to Blaze from Jamba Juice, where she served as senior director of franchise development for 10 years. Blaze has identified 45 target areas for growth, each capable of holding three to 10 Blaze Pizza restaurants. In her new role, Sams will recruit what the release said will be 30 new franchise partners for these areas.
"Now that our current franchise partners are established, we're excited to add the next wave of new franchisees to our family," Blaze Pizza International Chief Development Officer Carolyne Canady said in the release.
The brand plans a series of meetings in September nationwide to develop these franchisees. Blaze has locations in 40 U.S. states, as well as seven Canadian locations, with 11 new sites expected to open this year. Three of those locations will be situated in Vancouver.
This year, Blaze has seen record sales in its first Middle East locations in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia through a partnership with M.H. Alshaya Co.
