NEWS OF THE WEIRD: Man shoots 3 who bought pizzeria's last pies

SHOCKOE BOTTOM, Va.—Three customers of the Pizza Place, a late-night stop for club-goers, were shot by a customer who became angry at them when they bought the shop's last three pizzas available on the night of April 19.

According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, at approximately 2:30 a.m., an unidentified man fired as many as 20 shots, striking three patrons: one in the side and back; one in the calf; and the third in the lower back and buttocks.

None of the injuries were life-threatening. No arrest has been made in the crime.
