Boston's adds new wing flavors, choice of preparation

March 11, 2014

Boston's Restaurant & Sports Bar has added new wing flavors as part of its spring campaign.

The chain began offering five new wing options this week, including Salt & Vinegar Dry Rub, Mango Habañero, Teriyaki, Dry Rub Cajun and Jalapeño Molasses.

According to a news release, although the brand has offered chicken wings in the past, the company is now giving guests a choice as to how their wings are prepared — oven-roasted, fried, or hand-breaded boneless bites.

"The sports bar atmosphere and chicken wings fit together effortlessly, so in response to our guests' fierce, game-day appetites, we are rolling out our five new flavor options," said Troy Cooper, COO of Boston's Restaurant & Sports Bar. "By offering this extensive range of new choices, we hope to directly challenge some of the niche wing concepts out there and capture some of their crowd with our high-quality product."

Boston's will also introduce the Pepperoni Stuffed Twist Bread, with its hand-pressed pizza dough stuffed with diced pepperoni, cheddar, mozzarella and parmesan cheese, served with a pomodoro dipping sauce, and the Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza, which is topped with cheddar cheese, Angus beef, bacon, red onions, fresh tomatoes and a new mustard-based burger sauce.

To complement the new launches, the brand's spring wing campaign includes a search for "America's Ultimate Wingman," in which consumers will have the chance to help Boston's decide on a winner by voting for the new flavor they like the best by tweeting #(INSERT FAVORITE WING FLAVOR) and tagging @BostonsCorp on Twitter. When the campaign wraps up on May 19, Boston's will tally the votes to determine what flavor is the "ultimate wingman."
