Boston's shakes up top-level lineup

December 14, 2009

Boston Pizza Restaurants LP has named Mike Best, its former chief financial officer, to the role of chief operating officer, founder Jim Treliving announced. Randy Steinbrenner has also been named to the position of vice president of sales and marketing.

"Mike and Randy's significant industry experience speaks for itself," said Treliving. "Boston's has seen major growth in recent years, and, as we continue to grow our business across North America, it is reassuring having these gentlemen in leadership positions."   Mike Best has been with Boston's since 2003 when he was hired as the chief financial officer. Best came to Boston's with more than 15 years of financial and operational experience at the executive level. He began his career at Ernst & Young.

Randy Steinbrenner joins Boston's after four years as the vice president of marketing for Tony Roma's. Prior to Tony Roma's, Steinbrenner was a senior marketing manager at Applebee's International, where he was responsible for all bar initiatives.
