Brooklyn man beats pizza-eating record

New York Daily News: Sal Carbone ate slightly more than 15 slices of pizza June 1 to beat his own record — 15 — in a contest at Rocco's Pizzeria in Brooklyn, N.Y. Carbone was the winner of last year's contest.

Proceeds from the contest benefit the child welfare organization, MercyFirst.
