Iowa-based Burke Corporation, which supplies fully cooked meat products and pizza toppings, has rolled out a downloadable brochure for operators with tips on how to build traffic using various social media tools.
The brochure provides information on everything from QR codes to Foodspotting, Facebook and location-based applications.
"We're there for pizzeria operators and their business," said Liz Hertz, Burke Corp.'s marketing director. "This brochure will give them a good start at using today's technology to their advantage and help them connect with their customers."
The social media guide was well-received by attendees at the 2011 Pizza Expo and is now available for free download online.
