Burke intros Gyro-style pizza topping

NEVADA, Iowa — Toppings manufacturer Burke Corporation is bringing a bite of worldly flavor just in time for the 2004 Summer Olympics in Greece.

Burke's Premoro Gyro-Style Beef Topping is a premium beef product seasoned with garlic, oregano and other spices, making it easy to give customers authentic Greek flavor. The fully cooked, nugget topping allows foodservice operations to conveniently add new menu items without adding extra labor or training costs.

"Not only is Gyro-Style Beef Topping perfect for more traditional Greek recipes, but also it works great for pizzas, soups, and appetizers," said Burke marketing manager Liz Hertz. "It's very versatile."
