Changing of the guard at Papa Murphy's

Papa Murphy’s Holdings Inc appointed its current director, Jean M. Birch, to board chair as of the end of this month. She has served as director for the company since April 2015.  

The appointment follows the resignation of John Barr, who has served as board chairman since the company IPO. Barr held a variety of positions at predecessor companies.

According to a news release, Papa Murphy's doubled its number of units and sales under Barr’s leadership. No decision has been made on Birch's successor in the director's role.
