Cheese up more than 10 cents

CHICAGO — Block cheese prices continue to rise, standing at $1.9875 per pound on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange as of Thursday, up more than 10 cents from last week.

Block cheese averaged $1.695 per pound a month ago and $1.8825 per pound last week. A year ago, block cheese was selling for $1.21 per pound.
