Chuck E. Cheese is disputing claims, in a YouTube video, that its pizzas are made from uneaten pizza slices, BuzzFeed News reported. Shane Dawson, a YouTuber, released a video Monday claiming the company's pizzas sometimes are uneven because they are not always prepared fresh.
Dawson, whose video has garnered 7.7 million views, said stores sometimes gather uneaten pieces of pizza, place them together and reheat them. The video shows Dawson and some associates visiting a Chuck E. Cheese in Los Angeles and ordering a pizza that appears to have non-matching cut marks.
A Chuck E. Cheese spokesperson told BuzzFeed News the theory is "unequivocally false."
