Chuck E. Cheese has permanently renamed all 125 of its active play areas to Chuck E.'s Superhero Playground to coincide with National Superhero Day, according to a press release. The company is offering free admission to the newly-themed areas on Monday, April 28, with a downloadable coupon available on its website.
The superhero-themed indoor playgrounds are designed to encourage imaginative and active play for children under 56 inches tall, featuring climbing walls, balance beams, trampolines and obstacle courses. According to the company, these features aim to build agility, coordination, confidence and problem-solving skills.
"As we continue expanding the Chuck E. Cheese experience, the launch of our 125th indoor playground reflects our commitment to creating spaces where kids can move, imagine and express themselves freely — all in a safe and secure environment" Mark Kupferman, Chuck E. Cheese executive vice president, said in the release.
Currently available in select states including California, Colorado, Florida, New Jersey and Texas, with more locations opening weekly, regular admission to Chuck E.'s Superhero Playground ranges from $10 to $18 per child.
