Cici's captures Italy on summer buffet

Cici's has added two Italian-style flatbread pizzas, a Caesar salad and the Italian lemon crème bar to its summer line-up, as part of a push to bring customers into the buffet-style brand, a news release said. The LTOs join to create the brand's Buffet Italiano, following the addition of New York-style pizzas and dessert earlier this year. 

The flatbread pizzas are available in chicken Parmesan and Bruschetta, while the Caesar is tossed with seasoned croutons and shredded Parmesan, all which can be topped with the brand's creamy Caesar dressing.

Lemon bars have a shortbread crust, lemon cream cheese filling,  lemon glaze and a dusting of powdered sugar on top.

"Our Buffet Italiano items bring the flavors of fresh herbs, savory garlic, ripe tomatoes and zesty lemons to our buffet for guests to savor and enjoy with family and friends all summer long," CMO Billie Jo Waara said in the release.

Cicis is promoting the feature on social media from May 28 to June 30 when customers can share how their families are living it up "Italian Style," for a chance to prizes, as well as a featured spot on one winner on social media.
