Cities with the fewest pizza places

Detroit, Michigan and St. Louis, Missouri have at least one thing in common: they boast the fewest pizza places per 100,000 residents, according to a 24/7 Tempo study that tapped U.S. Census Bureau and Yelp review data.
Despite having its own pizza style, Detroit has been plagued by urban blight and a receding population, according to 24/7's website. St. Louis, located in the declining rust belt, and Honolulu, Hawaii, were also featured on the list. Several cities in California and Texas also landed on the list.
The 10 cities with the fewest pizzerias were:

- St. Louis, Missouri: pizzerias per 100K: 1.4 / Population: 2,024,074.
- Concord, California: pizzerias per 100K: 2.1 / Population: 652,308.
- Sacramento, California: pizzerias per 100K: 2.1 / Population: 1,898,019.
- Dallas, Texas: pizzerias per 100K: 2.2 /Population: 5,743,938.
- Springfield, Massachusetts: pizzerias per 100K: 2.4 / Population: 623,401.
- Phoenix, Arizona: pizzerias per 100K: 2.4 /Population: 4,219,697.
- Mission Viejo, California: pizzerias per 100K: 2.5 Population: 590,249.
- El Paso, Texas: pizzerias per 100K: 2.5 / Population: 843,386.
- Honolulu, Hawaii: pizzerias per 100K: 2.7 / Population: 820,987.
