Pizza Patrón announced that it is focusing on growth in the Southwest, Chicago and Louisiana after the chain reported all-time record sales at about 10 percent of its 93 locations. A news release said the chain experienced sales records at one of its busiest times of year — the last week of school in several communities.
"Our franchise partners know that this game is won on the ground in the trade areas around each store," said Andrew Gamm, executive vice president of Pizza Patrón.
"They are dedicated to out-working the competition and serving their communities — that's why they keep breaking sales records each year."
The 30-year-old chain is focusing on growth in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Chicago, as well as finding franchise partners for international development.
"Our stores are community based and we seek franchisees that love reaching out and being an integral part of their neighborhoods."
This chain offers a program for veterans who want to become franchisees which waives the $20,000 in franchise fees on the first restaurant to qualified, honorably discharged veterans.
