Cosimo's Pizza owner dies 3 months after shooting

The Associated Press: BALMVILLE, N.Y. — Cosimo DiBrizzi, 64, owner of Cosimo's Pizza, died on Aug. 31, three-and-a-half months after he was shot in his home by an unidentified assailant.

DiBrizzi's death raises the level of the crime to homicide. He never recovered from the shooting, leaving police unable to question him about the incident. Despite the offer of a $50,000 reward for information on the shooter, no one has come forward.
