CPK founders to publish new cookbook

LOS ANGELES — California Pizza Kitchen founders Larry Flax and Rick Rosenfield are publishing the California Pizza Kitchen Family Cookbook, which is expected to hit store shelves in September. The cookbook is the second to be published by the pair.
In the book, the CPK founders share their secrets for pizza making, with a special emphasis on kid-friendly recipes that families can make together. People will find recipes for Jamaican Jerk Chicken Pizza and other signature CPK pies, special themed pizzas for the Fourth of July and other holidays, and a whole chapter of CPKids Pizza Party recipes.
Additionally, the book includes recipes for some of CPK's most popular entrees, paninis, sides, and desserts, including the dessert S'mores Pizza.
The authors will donate 100 percent of their proceeds from the book to children's charities.
