Crazy Dough's Pizza rebrands a year after GFG acquisition

June 18, 2019

Crazy Dough's Pizza said it is rebranding now, a bit less than a year after it was acquired by Atlanta-based franchisor, Georgia Franchise Group. Rebranding includes a new store design, logo, website, menu items and, according to a news release, expansion into Atlanta.

The rebranding focuses on the chain's dough, produced by Atlanta-based H & F Bread Co. and delivered to stores daily. The Pollen Brands logo redesign revolves around the idea of great pizza crust and an artisan slice bar.

"We redesigned the logo to feature a slice of pizza surrounded by grill marks, representing the unique way the crust is prepared and served to our customers," GFG President Todd Broaderick, said in the release.  "The red swirl represents our commitment to serving only premium ingredients."

The brand opens its newest location on Buford Drive in Buford, Georgia on Wednesday, with grand opening festivities from noon to 2 p.m. 11:30am.  GFG will also feature information about Atlanta's homeless population and their needs at the opening from representatives from its charity of choice, Atlanta Mission.

The 20-year-old brand is actively looking for franchisees, with a total investment of $325,000 to $475,000, which includes a franchise fee of $20,000, royalty fee of 5% and advertising fee of 3%. It currently operates in Sugar Hill, Georgia's E Center, with plans for two more corporate-owned locations in Duluth and Midtown Atlanta this summer.
